Step Together Volunteering

Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced organiser and volunteer manager to oversee the development of a pilot project to increase the use of volunteers in the delivery of Step Together’s Rehabilitation through Volunteering programme.  The programme provides in-depth support to wounded, injured and sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans across the UK to engage in community volunteering as part of their rehabilitation and recovery process.

The postholder will coordinate the recruitment, training, monitoring and supervision of volunteers from the veteran community to work directly with our WIS clients.  He/she will ensure that our processes are robust, of high quality, and deliver the right level of support to the volunteer team.
