Trade Skills 4U are the UK’s leading independent electrical and renewable energy training provider located in Gatwick, West Sussex.
Over recent years we've helped thousands of people gain valuable knowledge, experience and the qualifications they need to pursue successful careers in the electrical industry, from new entrants, to existing electricians. We have now extended our range of electrical courses to cover Renewable energy training and have a dedicated centre for the training of these technologies 100 yards from our main Gatwick premises.
Our Forgotten Heroes Bursary
Our ‘Forgotten Hero’s’ bursary scheme was introduced by our MD Carl Bennett, who wanted to do something practical to help those who have slipped through the net of resettlement and given their thankless service for our country.
The bursary scheme, which officially launched in June, is a permanent offer which aims to give away 100,000 worth of free training to those who are struggling to find their feet on civvy street.
If you would be interested in applying for our bursary scheme or would like some more information, please visit www.tradeskills4u.co.uk/pages/free-training
All our awards are at our discretion and applicants will be vetted before an award is made.
Even if you are not eligible for this place give us a call on 01293 529777 and discuss your needs. We often will apply discounts for ex-service men and women at our discretion.

Our Resettlement Training
Trade Skills 4U have a long affinity with the armed forces with many service leavers choosing us for training over the years. Our belief in the services has led us to carve our own path in order to support those affected by their time spent in the military and we have some ex-servicemen among our great team here at Trade Skills 4U.
We understand you expect the best from your resettlement training provider
Carl Bennett established Trade Skills 4U after a brain tumour forced his retirement from special police unit SO19 in 2004. During his 22 years in the force Carl was involved with training police in using a range of specialist equipment including firearms. Having had first-hand experience of professional hands on training, Carl has applied the same principles and ensures we deliver the same quality of resettlement training here every day.
We employ service leavers as instructors
Understanding the excellence and professionalism of service men and women, Trade Skills 4U currently employ service leavers as instructors and are always happy to hear from ex-military personnel with the relevant experience of training and electrical knowledge. Visit our recruitment page for more information and the latest jobs.
