Job Search - Working for yourself

If you want to be your own boss, choose the hours you work and be fully rewarded for your own effort, you will probably want to work for yourself. The big financial advantage is that you will reap the rewards if your business is successful. The downside is that if things go wrong, you will be responsible for any losses.

Before you set up in business, you will need to thoroughly research your idea or business proposition, considering set up costs, expected income, the market you want to enter, and where you are going to operate from.  There is lots of advice available and workshops to help you find out about marketing, keeping accounts, the legal implications of business etc.
