There are a number of organisations including the Royal British Legion, Poppyscotland, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund and the Officer's Association that administer retirement homes for the ex-Armed Forces community. These include care homes, short term and respite care and long term care for the elderly.
Many of these homes are in beautiful countryside settings and all aim to provide a welcoming, comfortable and comradely environment where residents can live life to the full.
