Trade Union Learning

Trade union learning centres have been set up across the country by the Trades Union Congress (TUC)  through Unionlearn and by the Government through the Union Learning Fund to provide learning at work.

Unionlearn was set up by the TUC to help unions become learning organisations that encourage their members to take part in lifelong learning. It has set up a number of learning centres in association with learndirect to help union members and their families develop new skills.

The Union Learning Fund (ULF) was set up by the Government to encourage trade unions to support learning and funds trade union learning centres across the country.

learndirect is a government organisation that helps people with few or no qualifications to gain new skills and knowledge through online learning.
