Civvy Street members have free access to a library of online courses designed to help you improve your job prospects or get a more fulfilling job. To use the online learning services, you will first need to register as a member. When you have registered you can create your learning profile which helps us to recommend the best courses to suit your needs. You can then enrol on a course and start learning. It’s as simple as that.
Learning and Skills training
Civvy Street offers three different ways for you to improve your skills through learning:
- Civvy Street Online Training (also known as eLearning)
A range of online courses that will help to make you more employable. You may enrol on any of the courses you see in the list.
- Skills for life
Support with literacy, numeracy, information technology and, if English is not your first language, English language training. This type of training normally takes place at a local learndirect centre (or online on this site for people serving or living outside the UK).
- Training and funding
Includes sources of money for training and study, including statutory funding sources and charitable grants and bursaries available to Armed Forces leavers and members of the ex-Forces community.
