For the last 8 months I have been getting together everything needed to apply for a grant for a Close Protection course. The reason for taking so long was because of getting learning credits, letters from CP companies etc, but I did however keep Civvy Street informed all the time of my progress.

Finally I sent all the required bits and pieces to CS only to receive a call on 25/07/11 telling me that my application was to late as CS has stopped grants for CP courses as of the 18/07/11 and my paperwork reached them on 21/07/11.

I feel that this is totally out of order as i didn't receive any information on this beforehand and there wasn't even anything promagated on the web page explaining the decision on this.

I put alot of years into serving my country, and this my payback?? Well thanks alot Civvy Street.
