Recently it was announced that there would be free university tuition for those servicemen/women who had completed, I think, six years service. Does anyone know the full eligibility? As an ex-serviceman I don't have access to the resettlement bulletins it was probably announced in, so I'm looking for the info anywhere I can find it basically!

Anyone know where I can find it?

Thanks

Malcolm

This measure was announced on Thursday 17th July 2008 in the Command White Paper in Parliament by the Defence Minister, Des Browne along with a number of other measures for injured or former armed forces staff. You can find details of the statement on the following web links :-

However, please be aware that this has to be passed by Parliament, which will take some time before it takes effect, at which point more details will become available through the normal channels
