After my gripes and thoughts it was nice to hear back from Dudly Rose, who has been a great resource for myself in finding out about the Grant situation and it was nice to find out (at long last) that I have been given an award towards setting up my new business.

The reasurance of a voice and a person who could chat through everything was great, as far as I am concerned, as I suffer from PTSD and tend to get a bit frought. So once again Dudly THANK YOU keep up the great work.

I now have a long wait to sort out the next step, which is a bit of a pain as the Local Office now deal with the money and it has to be spent with a company and they pay them direct. Proving to be a real chore and a big issue with the company I am dealing with , even though they are a national chain they DO NOT like cheques at all, and where I would have shopped around for equipment I have choose not to do that as it will complicate things even more. The other problem being that they need to raise a cheque so I now have to wait for the cheque to be raised, sent to the company, received, processed (they say five days) before I get kitted out, another two weeks. I even had the chance to go to a major show and purchase the kit saving hundreds of pounds But that is not allowed as you can't buy and then get the money paid to yourself. There is NO trust left at all.

I have to say the process is too long winded and has made me question if it was worth while and I have to say, it likly is not, as I have had to take out months of my time and hold back from getting started. BUT hey at least I could be sorted within another two weeks.....
